Institute for Investment Performance Study

 

IIPS is a think tank with charity status founded by the Directors. It aims to further knowledge in select areas of the investment field.

 

In 2014 we developed a new methodology for value investing in European equities which combines both financial and operational parameters to select the most attractive stocks.  This is currently being implemented in several client portfolios.

 

In addition, IIPS has been active in advisory work in the  micro-finance field, where we have focused on long term lending to the agricultural sector.  In particular, we have developed legal agreements that permit financing at attractive rates, hitherto not available in the jurisdictions considered, by introducing to the financing structure certain features of inflation-linked securities and moulding these in a framework compatible with domestic legislation.
